BlueTinted League Cup

By Blue Tinted on 16-Sep-2009 at 12:33:18

The QPR game marks the first fixture in domestic cup competitions for us this season. As part of the Bluetinted Prediction League we will be running parallel cup campaigns for users, and the eventual winner can earn themselves a handy bonus…

To enter is very easy: You must have 1 or more points from this season’s prediction competition as of today. So sorry new entrants, you’ll have to wait for the FA Cup.

The draw: Users will be randomly drawn against each other from the entire league, and this will apply when the split occurs into divisions – so we can see people in the equivalent of the Blue Square Premier up against the very top user in the Premier League.

To score: Your prediction vs. QPR or any subsequent league cup opponent will be used to judge your performance in this fixture. Will it change your prediction? Maybe it would be a time to go for a bit of a wild-card scorer, or put more thought into your usual “2-0” score line prediction.

The winner:The League Cup final will determine the winner of the competition. If this doesn’t include Chelsea as a team, it doesn’t matter – we will provide player points for those involved and you can select score line and scorers as usual. On top of that the prize will be a ten point addition to your league score – this could be very important come the end of the season!

So keep an eye out for the draw and check out your opponent.

Good luck!
